The final two babies who remained in hospital after being fed ethanol while being treated on the neonatal intensive care ward in northern Nicosia’s emergency hospital were discharged on Friday.
A total of seven babies were fed ethanol at the hospital and one, 20-day-old Mihrimah Toymuradov, died , with the other six all now having been discharged. The north’s ‘health ministry’ described all six as “in good health”.
