Kazakhstan plans to soon open an embassy in Cyprus, its government confirmed on Monday.
The decision was relayed during a meeting in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, between the permanent secretary of the foreign ministry and Kazakhstan’s deputy foreign minister Roman Vassilenko.
In a statement later, the foreign ministry welcomed the decision, noting it comes on the back of the Republic of Cyprus recently opening an embassy in Astana.
