Cyprus’ population recorded an increase of 1.8 per cent in 2023 compared to 2022, according to demographic data released on Wednesday by the Statistical Service.
The number of births increased in 2023, while the fertility rate remained the same as 2022. Furthermore, deaths, marriages and divorces decreased and life expectancy went up.
