A 46-year-old woman, who was allegedly shot on Sunday afternoon by her husband in their home in Peyia, Paphos, has been extubated and her condition is described as serious but stable.
The woman is being treated in Nicosia general hospital and is communicating with her environment.
Police are investigating attempted murder.
