Limassol mayor Yiannis Armeftis on Thursday added his voice to concerns over the ‘pay-as-you-throw’ (PAYT) scheme, in the wake of House president Annita Demetriou having announced that the project needed to be postponed.
A follow-on meeting was scheduled for later in the day between representatives of the union of municipalities and Agriculture Minister Maria Panayiotou.
