Nearly 17 per cent of Cypriots struggle to heat their homes

In 2023, 16.9 per cent of Cypriots reported difficulties in heating their homes, according to Eurostat. This marks a 2.3 per cent improvement compared to 2022 , when one in five Cypriots struggled to keep their homes warm.

Across the European Union, the situation has worsened , with an average of 10.6 per cent of the population facing heating challenges in 2023, up by 1.3 per cent from the previous
