Larnaca municipality issued a warning on Friday about scammers impersonating the municipality to obtain personal information and money.
“Fraud incidents have been reported in which scammers send messages via mobile phones, claiming to represent Larnaca’s tax collection department and requesting personal details and payments ,” the municipality stated.
