Efforts are underway to determine the source of a sewerage spill in Vati, Limassol, near the biological sewage treatment plant, with the Water Development Department assuring the leak was not from the plant.
The Water Development Department and the Environment Department are still investigating.
So far, they have checked installations in Argaki, which leads to the Polemidia reservoir close to the Vati treatment plant, as well as the plant itself.
