Smoked salmon trout has been withdrawn from the Cyprus market, as it was found to contain listeria monocytogenes, rendering it unsuitable for human consumption.
The health services said salmon trout was sent to the state laboratory, which found Qualityfood 100g packages expiring on February 16 contained listeria.
The importing company has already been informed.
