Over 1,000 counterfeit items were seized from a shop in central Nicosia, the customs department said on Thursday.
The items consisted of athletic clothing and electronic devices, as well as stickers bearing the name of “well-known brands”.
Exactly 1,170 items of clothing and stickers were seized, while 122 electronic devices were also seized.
The customs department said the shop’s owner was “misleading customers” into believing the items were authentic.
