
UN Secretary-General Special Representative Colin Stewart is to have separate meetings on Friday with the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot leaders, amid efforts to open more crossing points on the island and restarting the stalled Cyprus talks.
Stewart’s meeting with President Nikos Christodoulides is slated for 3pm.
The UN diplomat will then cross to the north for his meeting with Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar.
