A fire broke out in a house in the universal area of Paphos in the early hours of Tuesday. Firefighters managed to contain the blaze before it spread to nearby properties.
The fire started around 3am in the ground floor and veranda of the residence. Five of the six occupants were taken to Paphos General hospital with breathing difficulties and injuries after escaping from the first floor.
