Greek and Turkish Cypriot parties have discussed the establishment of an institution for peacebuilding and conflict resolution in a meeting at Ledra Palace on Wednesday.
The institution could be established under the UN, with the attending parties suggesting that Cyprus be rebranded as a hub for peace and international dialogue, shifting its image from a “problem” to a symbol of “peace”.
